No Bake Oreo Balls Recipe
Secret to this Recipe is... to use a food processor to get the job done fast. But a large ziplock bag and a rolling pin will also do the trick, if you need a little stress release!
Here's What You Need

- Oreo cookies
Substitution - May substitute Double Stuf Oreos - cream cheese - Room temperature.
- white chocolate - We recommend using chips, as they are easier to melt.
Substitution - You may substitute any other good quality chocolate like almond bark, dark, semi-sweet, milk, or sweet milk chocolate.
Toppings for Oreo Balls
- sprinkles - use colors for the special occasion or theme, like holiday, game day, school colors, or your favorite colors.
- crushed Oreos (without white centers)
- cocoa powder
- powdered sugar
- crushed nuts - peanuts, cashews, pistachios, walnuts

Instructions

- Combine. In a food processor (see pro tip below), pulse together 1 package of Oreo cookies and 8 ounces of cream cheese at 1 second intervals.

- Form Balls. Take small amounts of dough out using a small cookie scoop. Roll the dough around in your hands to form bite size balls. Place them on a cookie sheet that has been lined with parchment paper, or wax paper.

- Freeze Balls. Place formed balls on the lined baking sheet into the freezer for 10 minutes.

- Melt Chocolate. Melt the chips in the microwave. Stirring at 30 second increments until it is melted.

- Cover with Melted Chocolate and Sprinkles. Take the small balls out of the freezer. Using a candy dipping tool, dip and cover each ball with white chocolate. Then place the covered Oreo ball back on the parchment paper.
Sprinkle with colored sugar immediately, before the candy coating sets.

- Freeze and Serve. Place back in the freezer for 10 minutes and serve!
Pro Tips
No food processor? No problem. If you do not have a food processor, you can use a large ziploc bag and a rolling pin to crush the Oreos into cookie crumbs. Place the Oreo's into the freezer bag and seal it tightly so that there is little air inside of the bag. Then take a rolling pin and pound until the cookies are fine crumbs.
Another way to melt the chocolate. You can also melt the it in a double boiler. Just place the chips inside a small aluminum bowl that has been set on top of a pot of simmering water. Stir it continuously, scraping the side of the bowl while the candy melts.
Dipping in the chocolate - We recommend using this candy dipping tool (affiliate link) to help cover the Oreo balls in candy coating. It's spiral wand tip holds the ball perfectly.
Just place the ball on the wand, and gently dip it into the chocolate. Use a spoon to scoop more on top of the ball. Then, transfer it to the parchment paper and gently dump it over onto the other side. That way, the spiral wand tip will leave a nice little imprint in the chocolate.

I am having a hard time finding white chocolate. Where can I find it or is there something I can use as a substitute?
Seanna Borrows says
Hey Andie. You should be able to find white chocolate in the baking or candy aisle near the chocolate chips at your local grocery store. If you can't find any, you can always substitute milk chocolate or dark chocolate.
