    cream cheese - Make it easy on yourself and either use room temperature cream cheese or pop unwrapped cold cream cheese in the microwave for 30 seconds to make it easier to spread.

    chili - Canned chili is the easy option here. But this recipe would also be amazing with our Bison Chili Recipe.

    • 4 oz Can Mild Green Chilis
    • 4 oz Can Diced Jalapenos
    • 2 Tablespoons Hot or Mild Salsa

    How to make it

    1. Spread the cream cheese over the bottom of a baking dish or glass storage containers.
    2. Add a layer of chili.
    3. Top with shredded cheese.
    4. Microwave for 3 minutes.
    5. And That's It! Enjoy your cheesy dip while its hot! Serve with Chips.

    Best melting cheeses are shredded cheddar, colby Jack, or chihuahua.

    Can I Make Ahead Chili Cheese Dip?

    Chili cheese dip can be made 2-3 days ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator or freezer. Choose a versatile storage container that is freezer, oven, and microwave safe. We find glass storage containers to be super handy. That way, you can store it, heat it up, and serve it all in the same container! So easy!

    What methods of cooking can I use to make Chili Cheese Dip?

    Microwave - 3 minutes on high.
    Oven
     - 375° pre-heated oven, middle rack, for 20 minutes.
    Crock Pot - 2.5 Hours on High. Keep warm on low.

    Equipment

    • pie plate

    Ingredients 

    • 8 oz Cream Cheese
    • 15 oz Can Chili No Beans
    • 1 Cup Shredded Cheese
    Get Recipe Ingredients
    Prevent your screen from going dark

    Instructions

    • Spread the Cream Cheese. Using a rubber spatula, spread a layer of cream cheese over the bottom of a baking dish or oven-safe glass storage container.
      8 oz Cream Cheese
    • Add Chili. Spread a layer of Chili over the top of the cream cheese.
      15 oz Can Chili
    • Top with Shredded Cheese. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the layer of Chili.
      1 Cup Shredded Cheese
    • Heat Until Bubbly. Microwave for 3 minutes or until it is hot, bubbly, and the cheese is melted.
    • Serve and Enjoy. Serve with Tortilla Chips!

    Other Methods of Heating: 
    Oven - 375° pre-heated oven, middle rack, for 20 minutes.

    Serving Suggestions:  Serve piping hot with tortilla chips.

      We made this dip for the Super bowl party and everyone LOVED it! So simple with only 3 ingredients. Mixed it up and added a bit of diced jalapenos!
